My Students

Every morning my students journey from nearly every neighborhood in New Orleans to my second grade classroom.

No matter how far they traveled or what they experience at home, they enter the classroom with smiles on their faces and an eagerness to succeed. However, a lack of classroom supplies and materials hinders them from achieving their full potential. With your help, my students will have everything they need to set them up for success in second grade and beyond.

My Project

My students will use these five computers and the headphones to access learning programs on the Internet that target their specific learning needs and gaps. Additionally, the ability to put five students on computers will allow me to teach smaller groups of students at a time. This will greatly impact my ability to differentiate instruction and guide my students towards third grade and beyond!

These computers and headphones will give my students the opportunity to not only use current technology but also give them the ability to access digital programs that target their needs, and allow me to teach them in small groups.
