My Students

Do you remember watching animals as a young child? My students would like to have this experience as well.

I work in a economically disadvantaged school.

My students are made up of African American and Hispanic students. Many of my students have learning disabilities and need hands on experiences, so that they can better remember the material we are learning in class. They are very curious students and love to learn about animals.

My Project

My students need live animals to study the life cycle of butterflies, ladybugs and frogs. They also needs books, so that they can read about these life cycles. The resources will change the lives of my students by allowing them to physically see the changes that the animals make and how they live in each stage of development. The books will allow the students to be able to read more about the animals. All these materials will help my students become more involved in science.

This project is so important because without your donation the students will not be able to get the hands on experience with these animals because there is no money for this in the budget.

This will enable science come alive for them.
