My Project

Our children are growing up in an exciting world of technology where playing video games on game systems and phones are very common in each household. Even low income households usually have this technology well within reach.

What is being lost in many students' lives is rich vibrant books that are read aloud to them on a daily basis.

By funding this book project, well chosen vibrant books will be in the classroom to be read aloud to the students and then to allow students the opportunity to read the literature for themselves. This will help foster a desire to seek out other books and expand their reading.
