Second Grade iPad Techies

Help me give my students an opportunity to use technology with the daily classwork. With this iPad, we will have two iPads in our classroom for students to work on their digital portfolios, research, and skill building.

My Students

My class of second graders are full of energy and are very tech-savvy. They teach me how to use the apps on our one iPad. This is my eighteenth year of teaching and I feel that I don't use enough technology to keep up with my students.

My students work hard in our classroom with one iPad and three outdated desktops.

However, when I attend professional development classes, I feel we are behind. With three to four iPads, we could have running portfolios and daily tech projects for everyone.

Please help us become technology experts in the classroom with iPads and cases that we can call our own.

My Project

Adding an iPad and case to our classroom will make our technology center have two iPads. This will allow two students to work on their digital portfolios, practice math skills, and/or work on research at the same time. With 24 students, this is a great time saver.

My second grade students are iPad gurus.

They are quick at adding technology to their daily classwork. Further, with the high level of interest in technology, they teach each other allowing the teacher to better use her time with the overall class.

Please help my students work up to their highest potential by adding an iPad to our classroom!
