My students are an energetic bunch of incoming 1st graders who are ready to learn and grow this next year together! Through opportunities such as morning meeting, alternative seating, STEM activities/challenges, multiple means of showing off their knowledge, students will be able to have each of their needs met physically, mentally and emotionally!
We know that little kids need to move, need to play, need to investigate and create as we work through the academics, and with added materials we can do it all in a way that is engaging, motivating, active and FUN!
Through the materials I have requested we can ensure students have what they need to support making the growth they are meant to! I am so thankful to start a new year with such an incredible group of kids and can't wait to see how your support affects their growth!
My Project
Students need to be engaged, motivated and encouraged! The items requested will help engage students by providing them multiple means of representing their knowledge through fun writing utensils, STEM materials and projects and more. Students will be motivated when they are able to interact with academic material through different materials than they're typically used to. Students will be encouraged knowing that their individual needs are recognized and addressed through differentiated materials.
When students are able to interact with a variety of materials, show their knowledge in a variety of ways and move around, they're able to truly do their best!
