This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are energetic, smart, loving, curious, adventurous, daring, and caring who majority come from low income homes. My students love a challenge and love to be interactive and hands on during class. Majority of my students are big Kinesthetic learners. They love to help one another and work well together. The atmosphere in my classroom is learning can be fun. My students love to move about the room and love sitting in chairs and other flexible seating options around the room.
My Project
Many of my students tend to move within their desk to get off energy, when they get the opportunity to move around the room and sit throughout, they appear more calm and engaged in their learning. They ask frequently to move around the room and work. This will give them the opportunity to do this with the necessary resources to do so. The students will be able to engage in their learning while sitting where they feel most comfortable. The students will take control of their learning, and with these things will be able to meet those need more effectively.
