My Project

Creating a welcoming, comfortable learning environment is one of my top priorities as a teacher. I believe students do their best work when they feel safe, supported, and proud of their classroom. Part of building that environment is making sure they have classroom furniture that helps, not hinders, their learning.

Right now, my students are sitting and working in chairs that are outdated, uncomfortable, and difficult to move when we are switching to more active learning activities.

Students deserve a learning space that supports their ability to work hard all day long. Sitting in uncomfortable chairs for hours makes it harder for students to stay focused and engaged in their work. Instead of concentrating on their assignments, they often shift around and fidget, trying to find a comfortable position. Upgrading our seating will help reduce these distractions and allow students to put their energy where it belongs: into learning, collaborating, and growing. With this more comfortable seating, our classroom could become a space that fosters learning and will hopefully be a place students love to be in and learn in.
