Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students enjoy hands-on projects where learning is fun, authentic, and where all students can engage in thinking outside the box. Many of our students are English Language Learners, ELL students, who benefit from project-based learning where they can experiment with language in a comfortable manner.

Our vision is to provide students a safe learning environment where staff, parents,and community stakeholders work together.

In order to ensure the development of the whole child, learning opportunities at our school are intentional with the hope and dream of each student being able to reach their fullest potential.

My Project

The materials and supplies I am requesting for our school will allow our students to sit in our garden and engage in active, hands-on learning opportunities. The materials will provide seating in our garden so that students can engage and focus on learning while enjoying the beauty of the garden.

Our students will delight in natures sounds and colors while captivating their imagination all while reading or writing in their journals.

Our garden seats will provide a place for students to engage in science experiments where they can explore endless possibilities, art projects which will foster their imaginations, and gardening lessons which will inspire and motivate students to continue to learn more about nature.
