Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is very diverse and social. If I let them, they would sit and talk with each other all day long! They love to know everything about each other and are constantly worrying more about each other than themselves.

No matter the academic level, or differences, every student is willing to use their own skills to help in the classroom!

These kids are so bright and blow my mind each day with how quickly they leran new things.

My Project

Having flexible seating and sturdy clipboards will allow my students to work comfortably. First graders have creative minds but usually keep their thoughts in their head instead of putting them on paper.

With these seats and clipboards, students will be encouraged to share their thinking with others instead of keeping them to themselves.

The seats and clipboards will give students the opportunity to be comfortable when working. All students learn differently and these tools will give them the opportunity to learn at their own pace to do their best in everything they do.
