My Students

As a teacher that works in a high poverty school, many of my students face challenges inside and outside of the classroom. I want to provide my students with a stress free environment with the least amount of challenges possible. I want my students to be able to focus on academics and not on the struggles that surround them. I feel like I can do this by providing an environment where supplies are available and they have the materials that they need in order to complete their projects.

My Project

I am asking for a kidney shaped table for small group instruction. This table helps provide enough room for 4-6 students at a time to get direct, hands on instruction from the teacher. This shape table allows the teacher to reach each child and help them individually or as a group.

In Kindergarten we work hard in math and reading, and spend a lot of time working in small groups.

This table will allow my students to focus on what is going on, and allow me to easily reach for correction or instruction. This table will allow us to work cooperatively during small group time.
