My Project

My students have become quite antsy now that we are back to learning in person. They fidget and some even stand up in the back of the room because their backs hurt from sitting in a hard chair all day.

My students will be more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are able to use a yoga ball to sit on while working at their desks.

These seats will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get the wiggles out and move a little while still focusing on the lessons being taught in ALL academic subjects.

I also want to teach my students about making a responsible decision to use their new seating properly and not as a distraction. Further, the yoga balls will also improve their core strength and help their backs by enabling them to sit up straighter. A stand is supplied with each ball to keep it from rolling around.
