My Students
My students come in as babies, not yet students but eager to learn. They are sweet, energetic, creative, and can bring a smile to anyone's face. Our school is located in rural southeastern North Carolina. Our school is a Title 1 school which serves many underprivileged and exceptional students. 100% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch and come from low income families.
With your support our students will have access to the supplies they need in Kindergarten will better prepare them to be successful moving forward.
My Project
If we get a new carpet the students will be able to sit in a nice place to do group work and carpet time. We have carpet time every morning. We go over Letterland and whole group Waterford as well as calendar time. We sing and do group work on the carpet. Please help us out.
Our students need to experience good things in order to recover from the storm and the displacement they have experienced.
Do to Hurricane Florence our school experienced water damage. Even though we have cleaned our school, the students need a clean and comfortable place to sit and do their work. We had to throw out the old rugs due to them getting wet.
