My 4th grade students are an amazing, creative, and energetic group of individuals. They all come to school excited to experience success and want to be ready to learn. They work together to create a classroom environment that is inclusive and safe for everyone.
They are passionate about protecting our earth, making a difference, and enjoy learning new skills.
My 4th graders face many challenges. Our school has over 60% of the students receiving a free and reduced-priced lunch. They work really hard and are eager to learn.
My Project
My students spend a lot of time seated on the floor. In the past, I have had my classroom stocked with carpets and pillows in order to make our carpet time more comfortable. However, due to germs, dirt, and other concerns that come along with cloth items in the classroom, they needed to be removed. I have been searching for a new solution to help make learning more enjoyable, and have now found the solution. These cushions will make a huge difference in the daily life of my students!
These Soft cushions will enable my students to be comfortable and focused during all floor activities and lessons.
It will allow them to use all areas of the room to complete work and help keep bodies from being sore.
With these soft cushions, my students will feel more comfortable in the classroom. It will allow more areas of the room to be used, and make learning more fun. They can also be used for our school assemblies. Our school does not have enough mats for the whole school, so my students will just have to bring cushions.
These soft cushions can be easily used and stored in my classroom. I would love it if my students get excited about carpet time. This will be a new and exciting way to learn, and the kids will love it!
