Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Pre K is such an exciting place to begin the journey of education! It is a time when the student and parents first learn that they have to let go a little. This is the year that they learn new social skills, new rules, new academic skills, and how to keep their things organized.

I would love for my students to learn to organize their own things with the help of the Seat Sacks.

This would be an excellent way for us to keep our supplies organized and running smoothly.

My Project

The Seat Sacks I am requesting will help my students to keep their personal supplies organized within their own personal space. We will be using them to store pencil boxes filled with supplies, journals, classwork, and more. Hanging on the backs of their chairs, the Seat Sacks will also minimize clutter and make it easy for my students to reach for their supplies when needed.

Pre K is a time when children first begin to demonstrate some form of independence.

Having their very own place to store their personal supplies will contribute to their own sense of control and stability.
