Even though our school has a high population of students that receive free and reduced price lunch our students come to school ready to learn each day. Our school has a strong focus on supporting families and students in anyway possible.
Our school is striving to help teach our students both academic excellence but also life skills.
One of the things that we have seen that allows our students to be so successful is promoting organization. Students being in Kindergarten using a binder and folder system to help them work toward this goal. In our classroom we have over 100 baskets to help keep students organized. However, this year we do not have desks and now we have tables. In order to help promote our organization goal we need seat sacks. These seat sacks will permit students to organize their personal materials for each day. The students can use markers to help organize their notes within their planners. Students love to express themselves and show their work. By allowing each student to have their own personal white board they will be able to have their own work space to share their ideas.

These materials will allow students to take pride and ownership in their work and belongings.
It will allow students to know that their materials are valued and that they have a space within the classroom setting to call their own.
