Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are very special first graders in a high-needs area of a borough in New York. Many of my students are English language learners and children with special needs. Each student is unique in his or her own way and deserves to have the best educational experience possible. All of my students receive free lunch and come to school every day eager to learn.
Unfortunately, my classroom does not always have the supplies we need.
Every donation makes a difference in my students' lives. I look forward to creating projects that will make our classroom a joyful learning environment. Thank you!
My Project
Every one of my students is working hard to succeed. We work at group tables so there is no desk space to get all cluttered. We store our notebooks and workbooks in seat sacks that attach to the back of each chair. The problem is that we need bigger seat sacks to hold all of our notebooks and other school supplies we use. These seat sacks will help save learning time because students will have their math and literacy materials at their fingertips!
My students can save lots of time and effort if we have bigger seat sacks.
