My Students

I have the honor of teaching 20 wonderful, resilient first graders this year! They all come from different cultures, backgrounds, and contribute various things to our classroom community. They are full of love, enthusiasm, and curiosity. They are excited to learn and I truly love being their teacher!

Even though over 90 percent of the students in my classroom receive free and reduced lunches because of their socio-economic status, it does not quench their thirst to learn, explore, and play.

It is my goal to provide the best and safest learning environment for them to help them achieve and even surpass their goals.

My Project

Seat Sacks will be a place in our classroom where my students can store all of their materials conveniently. Having these will also allow for more storage space throughout our classroom. An individual Seat Sack will also give my students the opportunity to practice responsibility while they keep their materials clean and organized inside. Seat Sacks will allow for more instructional time because my students won't be searching for their supplies, instead they will be readily available without having to even leave their seat. Having Seat Sacks will help me provide a healthy learning environment that all children truly deserve.
