My Students

Go mighty anteaters go! This is the opening line to our fight song that we sing every morning in the 3rd grade room. My students and I got assigned to represent UCI - a wonderful college that some of my kiddos are trying to get into one day in the near future. Although they are only in 3rd grade, we do our best each day to lead by example, work hard, be kind, go above and beyond, and focus to be able to get into college one day.

My students exude kindness, creativity, hard work, helpfulness, and are very hands-on learners.

From the start of the year, we have been working at being one unit and my students know that we are a family both in the classroom and outside on the playground. My students have quickly learned to have each other's backs are always quick to help a struggling student in the classroom.

My Project

In our classroom, we have long desks for students that sit 2 to a desk and have no compartment underneath for students to place their classroom items. With no compartment, this makes their desk area incredibly messy due to the amount of materials we keep in class (i.e. workbooks, reading books, pencil boxes, textbooks, etc.). Due to the amount of things on student desks, this takes away from their learning as there is no organization and barely any room to do their work. With these seat sacks, my kiddos would be able to put their materials (usually found on their desk) into an organized section in their seat sacks - increasing the learning and focus in my classroom. My students deserve to learn in a clean, organized environment and I wish I could give this to them on my own - but we need your help! Please help my students to get the most out of their learning.
