Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a Title I school where the majority of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch. Our kindergarten students love to come to school and learn and we love to come to school and teach them.

Most of our students walk or ride their bikes to school daily.

We are a small, community school with a big heart.

Kindergarten is the start of most of​ our student's school lives and we strive to make it a memorable one.

My Project

Our students need seat sacks to help keep their materials organized. Seat sacks allow our students to easily put away folders, journals, pencils, and all of the other goodies our kindergarten students use during a school day.

By having seat sacks on the backs of our chairs our students will be able to easily access their materials and put them away.

Instead of having our students walk across the room to a cubby or dig through a desk they will be able to reach behind them and put away or take out what they need to the next activity. Seat sacks will make our lives simple!
