I am a fourth-grade teacher at a public school in Arizona. My school is a Title I school where one hundred percent of students receive free or reduced-priced breakfast and lunch.
My students come to school excited and ready to learn.
They work well together as a team and encourage each other to strive towards their goals. My classroom is filled with uniqueness and diversity.
As a teacher, I am committed to providing my students a quality education through relevant and meaningful lessons. Through differentiation, I make sure the needs of my students are met. In my classroom, students grow academically in addition to learning life skills and building confidence. My students are the reason I come to school every day.
My Project
In order to conserve space, my class got rid of large desks and replaced them with trapezoid tables. As a result of this, my students lost a means to store their notebooks, folders, binders, and other individual school supplies.
I am asking for seat sacks in order to keep students organized, provide a place for students to store their school materials, and conserve classroom space.
Seat sacks hang on the back of students' chairs to store their classroom materials. As an AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) school, organization is a key component in academic success. Students will use their seat sacks every day to store their folders, notebooks, papers, and writing materials. The seat sacks are perfect to use on a year to year basis.
