Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have a total of 41 first grade students. My students are a loving and amazing group that tries their hardest in everything that they do, even if they do not understand the language. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. It warms my heart to see them so excited to share what they are learning with each other and their families.
My students love to learn.
They love learning in different, fun, and interacting ways. They love to teach and learn from each other. They love to use things from the outside world and bring it into our classroom to learn!
My Project
My classroom is a small room where every space needs to be utilized for maximum use. Students in my class sit in tables instead of traditional desks that do not allow for personal storage or a way of keeping their belonging nearby.
With the use of these seat sacks my students can keep their materials organized and near by.
In my classroom students leave their bookbags in tubs near the front of the room instead of having the bookbags on the back of their chair, which are always slipping off and causing a possibly accident.
By incorporating seat sacks for every student they can now keep important supplies near them in an organized manner.
