School in Lowell, Massachusetts. I currently have 22 students in my classroom. I teach in a high-poverty district, where most students qualify for the free or reduced-price lunch program. Many of our students at our school speak 2 languages and often have not had a preschool experience. My students are eager to learn in the short 6 hours I have to teach them math, science, history, reading, writing, and social behaviors. Every minute of our day is spent on learning and I make my lessons as fun and hands-on as possible! They try their very best at all times and I am very proud of them.
These seat sacks will allow my students to have more room in their desks as well as develop organizational skills. Currently, I have been using the same seat sacks that were passed down to me 5 years ago. Unfortunately, they are very torn and have been put to good use throughout my 5 years as well as the following years from the other teacher.
I am a strong believer that in order to stay focused and be productive you need to be organized.
These seat sacks will allow my students to do this by allowing them to have more room to complete their work without the clutter and distraction of extra things surrounding them!
