My Students
With all of the new books and materials being utilized in grade 3, my students need to have a way to help them stay organized and prepared for class everyday. This is the perfect teaching tool that provides a practical storage pocket for all students. Students will find it easy to keep school supplies neatly organized using this classroom chair storage. Students and teachers no longer have to trip over materials that overflow out of the desks. These chair pockets will house the students Reader's Workshop materials for easy access and helps to teach organizational life skills. They will fit on the back of the students' chairs to keep their materials neat and organized throughout the school year.
My Project
My third graders feel a lot of pressure trying to stay organized and on task throughout the school day. The seat sacks will help my students stay on track and help them remain focused on instruction. Rather than losing time during instruction to get up and try to find materials for the lesson students will remain engaged and focused at all times. I believe an organized student is the key to success. This will help my students to become more independent with taking care of their materials and help them feel prepared and will also help to cut down on transition time between subjects.
