I am blessed to work with a wonderful group of diverse young children who come to me with various backgrounds and experiences. I teach in a public school where a large percentage of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch and are faced with other concerns that put them at risk for learning challenges. Despite these challenges, we work hard daily to reach our full potential. I teach in an inclusion classroom where several of my students have special needs including developmental delays, autism, or medical concerns. We all work together in our classroom!
In my classroom, we are proud to love, laugh, and learn every day.
As a preschool teacher, I work with our school's youngest learners (ages 3-5). It is important to me that I provide children and families a positive experience as they start school. Together we set goals and strive to meet them through our exciting learning adventures.
My Project
Preschool children are active learners and are constantly using different learning materials. Our classroom is in need of a new shelf and storage baskets to store these materials. Clear baskets make it easy for children to see the contents, encouraging children as they learn to keep our classroom environment neat. The shelf I am requesting for this project is perfectly sized for preschool children. We will be able to store many games, learning tubs, and activities on this self that will help us reach our goals.
A new shelf will help us stay organized and will make supplies accessible to all students in the classroom!
