Our students come from a variety of different backgrounds but share the common goal of becoming filmmakers, photographers and artists. Our classrooms are a place to challenge students to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to become college ready or prepared for an entry level career in the media arts fields.
Our digital media arts academy students are excited to come to school every day and actively participate in projects with their fellow students where they learn the basics of filmmaking, photography and graphic design.
My Project
Lights! Camera! Action! Our digital media arts students use photo and video cameras every day. They use them to make movies, take award winning photographs, and film their weekly school news broadcasts. We need to have SD memory cards to take those photos and record the footage. Our students need to be able to work with new equipment that will prepare them for their photography, film, or journalism classes in college or their careers. SD cards are one of those items that we need to refresh from time to time. The purchase of these additional cards at this time will make a big difference for our program.
