My students need 35 sets of Chair Soxs to begin our new school year to keep noise level down and our floors clean.
As you can see by our classroom picture, the year starts out with beautiful, shined and buffed floors. This will last for a couple of weeks, but soon the floor becomes full of scratches and scuffs. This occurs because we are active learners and we continuously get up from our seats.
My students need to move from one place to another in our room to keep up our active learning.
The room can get awful loud and noisy listening to the squeaks and scrapes that come from pushing our chairs in and out. This noise disturbs many students, especially when we are reading or writing quietly. Not to mention, after time, the floors become full of scratches from the bottoms of the chairs.
In the past I have put felt on the bottoms of our chairs, but they quickly wear away or fall off. Chair Soxs are sturdy and durable and will last longer on our chairs. Also, they are so simple to put on the chairs, unlike felt. Felt takes so much time to cut properly and then place onto chairs using rubber bands.
Please help us get Chair Soxs for our classroom to keep our room screech free, so we can concentrate on our learning.
Also, we take pride in the appearance of our room and we want it to look nice the entire school year.
