My students need dry erase tables to be able to demonstrate their work and understanding in a creative way without having to leave their seats to get dry erase boards.

My Students

My students attend a rural school in Southern Delaware. My classroom is an inclusion classroom consisting of both regular and special needs students. Our school receives Title 1 funding due to the high number of students receiving free and/or reduced lunch.

Even though my students have special needs and come from impoverished backgrounds, they still come to school with a smile on their face, eager to learn.

They want to do their best and be successful. They strive to prove this to me each and every day.

My Project

The Dry Erase Tables will allow my students to complete their work in a creative and fun way while eliminating paper waste and frustration. Students will be able to work collaboratively or individually to solve problems and work through tasks without the frustration of ripping their paper while trying to erase pencil. They will be able to just write on the tables and easily wipe away their answers when they are finished.

Who doesn't love being told that they can write on their desk?

This will make completing their work more fun and encourage them to complete tasks. We will be able to save some trees while we are at it!
