Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The last few school years have been very different, but that does not mean our school/community pride has to change with it. Our students are loving being back at school either in person or through distant learning. This has created an escape for them and gives them something to work towards to and motivate them in class. This is needed now more than ever. Our students are still adjusting to being back in school and improved sports equipment will motivate them even more.

Our school has always been committed to sports and athletics.

Each piece of equipment will be used to challenge as well as prepare our students for sport events and help with their emotional needs. The sports equipment like the soccer goals and soccer balls are portable and can be used during lunch breaks or after school to provide that needed break after a long day in class. Other equipment will be used to store, plan and protect students while using the equipment. Our school has been trying to improve equipment these last few years and we are almost where we want to be. These donations will truly be useful and very much appreciated!
