This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are the kind of readers who find most stories "boring" but they never say that about Scope Magazine! In fact they ask for more.

My students are part of an inclusion classroom that consist of a wide range of reading levels.

Scope is written to target every level and even the most reluctant reader finds something interesting inside. It allows them to go from current stories in the world to fun filled stories from various genres.

My Project

Our school budget no longer allows us to have a subscription for each child. With donors help, I hope to bring Scope to each of my students. This way they may enjoy it and remain highly engaged. Since Scope is written to differentiate instruction I will be able to utilize it with all my students to meet their needs.

Using Scope with help my students to get enthusiast about reading.

Not only will they be in touch with current world events, but also look at literature in an new creative way. Using Scope will bring excitement into our room.
