My Students

My students are the best! They love science and are so eager to learn. I want to foster that by giving them more hands-on experiences. There is no better way for students to understand what they are learning than to experiment and experience it first hand. Although some families may be economically challenged the love and will to learn is very strong. Seeing my students’ faces when they have those ah-ha moments is so inspirational. I want them to be curious about the world. I want them to know they can do anything they set their minds to!

My Project

These activity kits will give students access to the material they must learn in 4th grade, only in a more dynamic way. Students learn in a variety of different ways — I meet that challenge by using varied strategies in my teaching. Hands-on learning is another avenue to reach a variety of learners in an exciting way. I want to inspire them to do and learn more. My classroom space is limited which is another reason I chose these science kits. These kits are compact but are packed full of great resources. I know these are a solid choice because a friend has these exact kits — I want my students to have the same opportunities and access to these resources. They deserve it!
