My students are a wonderful group of kids! They come in each and every day ready to learn and expand their knowledge. The age of my students ranges from 7th grade all the way up to Juniors. Each of them has made my first year of teaching very special.
A lot of my students come from low-income households, so being able to help them out in any way is very important to me!
I hope to impact their lives in a positive way!
My Project
In my classroom, student use TI-30XIIS calculators every day on their assignments. Currently, my students are having to share calculators due to a limited supply and limited funding.
Having these scientific calculators will help my students to solve equations more effectively and efficiently.
Providing a calculator to each student will maximize their learning and abilities in my class. These calculators will be helpful in solving square roots, percents, fractions, trigonometric ratios, and much more.
Many of my students cannot afford these calculators, so funding for this project would be very beneficial to each student's success and the success of our math program!
