Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are 6th grade gifted scholars that constantly keep me on my toes. They are always ready to learn and up for any challenge. One method of challenging them is through reading about science, science experiments, and science projects. With the science world magazine, I will be able to teach them how to dissect informational text and create experiments on the different topics within the magazine. With knowledge about science, they can become a part of the future of innovators and scientists.
My Project
Science World magazine will help my scholars meet the Common Core State Standards for informational text. This magazine will enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create in my classroom. The stories and activities are engaging and the fact that the images are in color makes it even more engaging. Scholars will not have to worry about having internet as all the activities and assignments are provided in the magazine and by me. Scholars need different types of text and this magazine is an invaluable addition to my classroom. Please help support funding for this magazine. Thank You!
