This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students range from advanced to students needing extra support. They are thirsty for knowledge and want to be able to have active learning. They want to be able to touch and manipulate while they are learning. They are hungry for science but would benefit from using science tools and carrying out experimental designs and inquiry. They want the opportunity to do this. They want to "do" science, not just simply learn it and understand it. They want to be able to see the facts and lessons that they are taught. Using creativity to explain concepts is key. My goal is to integrate Kesler activities, labs, and notes in order for my students to better understand the different concepts in science.
