This is my third year teaching fourth grade. My students are creative, hard-working, and willing to learn. They surprise me every day with their thought-provoking questions and curiosity. They all come from different backgrounds and skill levels.
My students love learning!
They work hard which means I have to work harder to give them experiences that will challenge and engage them. I am always looking for new ways to help them dig deeper into the content and think outside of the box.
My Project
It is well known that to learn something, the brain needs multiple exposures to the information or skills being learned. I will use the science videos from Generation Genius to give my students more opportunities to see science concepts in action. It will be a wonderful way to supplement the science exploration we are doing in class.
I am also a firm believer that children learn best through play.
This will be true as we use the board games to review and practice skills such as multiplication facts.
Finally, my students love to read, and I would love to expand my classroom library with some novels and some nonfiction titles.
