Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach twenty 4-year-old preschool students, with and without special needs, within the inner city setting. They come to school every day with their eager little smiles and bright minds ready to learn. My children love exploring and learning every day and I give them as many opportunities to use all the materials that I have available.
Hands on Science is such an amazing opportunity for learning.
There are so many experiences that a preschooler can learn from if they have the opportunity to interact with their environment through exploration.
All the students can be actively engaged in exploring and learning all about the world around them. Varied learning styles make it necessary to present the lessons with a variety of mediums. When students achieve the knowledge that they are striving for, it is reflected in their excitement of learning.
My Project
Students will be able to explore and make new discoveries about the environment around them. A variety of fascinating and effective tools help students to be excited in the learning about Science
Our students are bombarded by so much technology and need more opportunities to explore and learn through the use of a variety of tools that expand their natural learning curiosity.
These tools will incorporate and inspire the students to experiment and try new things. Providing them the opportunities to experiment with light and shapes. Manipulating real objects and seeing how they affect the environment as well as encouraging all students to make new discoveries.
