My Students

My students are amazing young people! My students are polite and very intelligent. They are hardworking and enjoy doing hands-on activities in my science class. Unfortunately, I teach in an area that has low-income families, they offer what they can, but we just fall short. These supplies that I am requesting will just be got to the general every day needs of my classroom. They will provide a more productive day for all of my students.

The materials I have requested will improve the collaboration in my classroom.

I try to incorporate a lab situation at least once a week in order for the students to be able to collaborate and master the curriculum. My classroom will run much smoother if I can have the materials I need for my labs.

My Project

The use of STEM and other collaborative activities in my class keep me constantly moving the desks in my classroom. I currently have slanted individual desks that make it amazingly difficult for my students to participate in many lab situations. I am new to my school and would like to equip my classroom with science tables that will allow me to increase my STEM labs and allow for better collaboration amongst my students! The thought of actual science tables and the ability to use the STEM equipment available to me will allow an excitement of science that my students greatly deserve!
