Help me give my students fun science supplies for our hands on activity labs! We need beads and dye for experiments and we are always stapling and using glue in our notebooks!
I currently teach Science and Social Studies to a large group of 6th grade students. They are curious, fun, and eager to learn. This year I have been instilling the love of reading into these amazing students, and they are hungry for more!
In addition to growing their love of reading, I want to take their love of Science and Social Studies to the next level!
I will need some additional classroom supplies to make my lessons as fun and engaging as I can!
My Project
The Science Sisters are requesting your help in replenishing their supply closet!
Our students love to be creative and participate in hands on science experiments, but we need more supplies!
When we have over 150 students cycling through our classrooms each day our staplers need replacing. We also use glue and staples to attach items into our IANs (interactive notebooks) and GUS (Guide to Understanding Science) notebooks. We need beads to represent different parts of the water cycle when we create Water Cycle bracelets, and we need Red Dye to help dye our Cheerios red when we make "red blood cells" in the science lab.
