Help me give my students some great hands on science experiences. Later this year, they will be studying energy and then rock patterns. I have some materials, but these fossils would really get the kids engaged.

My Students
My students are wonderful! They come from diverse backgrounds. I have students in my class who have roots from Angola, Croatia, Somalia, El Salvador, and kids who were born and raised here in the United States.
My students are curious and eager to learn science.
As we set our goals to start the year, many students expressed a hope of learning more science. They love hands on projects. They are eager to do experiments and learn more science. They love submitting questions to be explored.
My Project
I will use this resources directly with students. They will touch them, study them, describe them, and write about them. I find hands on materials really get kids excited about learning. I am always looking for activities that get them engaged.
Stay curious!
That is what kids do naturally. I want to keep the spirit of curiosity alive in them. Stay curious is a motto used by Mystery Science, an online science program that the kids love.
The kids will ask questions and seek answers to their questions. Science will come alive for them if they have realia to help them understand. It is much more effective than lecturing.
