Help me give my students the opportunity to read about science that is affecting their world and the changes that are happening with SuperScience magazine.
There are 64 children in my fourth-grade class who are energetic, enthusiastic, inquisitive, funny, caring, and happy. Our school is located in Chicago. Our students come from different social, cultural, and economic backgrounds. We are fortunate because our school embraces the diversity of our students, staff, and families. It makes us who we are, a safe place for learning. Our students love to participate in class. My students love to learn. My students have various learning styles and I want to make sure that I can reach all of my students. Giving children the opportunity to learn is my goal.
My Project
Having this subscription to SuperScience through Scholastic will give my students the opportunity to read about Science that is happening in their world around them.
It gives the children the chance to discuss with each other what they have read in the SuperScience magazine.
This magazine is a wonderful way for children to have meaningful discussions about what they have been reading. It gives them the opportunity to discuss global science issues and interesting information.
This magazine also give my students the opportunity to do quick experiments with things that are available in class or at home. Reading and seeing what other people are doing to change the world through science, lets them see they can do it too.
