This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our 2nd grade team wants to provide our students with the best resources for our Plants Unit! We will be learning about all things PLANTS after spring break this school year.

These Scholastic Science Readers will help our students learn all about plant life cycles and plant adaptations.

These readers have on-level nonfiction texts with high-quality diagrams and remarkable real-world photos. They also include learning activities throughout the book and will help us build on 10 crucial reading skills like main idea, reading comprehension, compare/contrast, and so much more!

Students will use these during our daily science lessons and will also be spiraled into our daily reading lessons. These Science Readers will allow our students to grow their knowledge in both science and reading!
