Our school is 75% economically disadvantaged and 50% are English language learners. We do not have a lot of supplies to work with due to our economic situation but we make up for that we creativity and imagination. Please help these 6 graders discover what a great career path science truly is!
My Project
My students will use the supplies in this project to keep our science lab safe and clean. Science is a dangerous subject and it is important to keep the lab orderly and clean. To accomplish cleanliness we need the basic supplies of facial tissue and paper towels. For our goal of organization we need a class set of dry-erase markers, file folders, and a paper shredder. The dry-erase markers will allow all students to participate in labs on our mini white boards and get direct feedback. File folders will help us keep track of our best work for the end of the year portfolio and the shredder will be used to safely dispose of papers with personal information on them.
My project will make a difference to my students by allowing them all to participate in science labs at the same time while in a safe environment.
By having a safe science lab my students can better explore the world around them and not need to worry about
