My Students

Our students come together from a variety of backgrounds and cultures to create a beautiful, collaborative community of learners.

Whether it's international travel, Greek mythology, astronomy, or athletics, each of our students brings her or his own set of passions and interests into the classroom.

It is a true pleasure watching the students build on each other's strengths and support one another through growing opportunities. They are a remarkable tribe of explorers. With continued access to the best tools, they are preparing to make a positive impact in their community and the greater world.

My Project

These binders will allow our students to create their own science notebooks, and keep their materials more organized.

Much of science is keeping track of information found through research and exploration.

Currently, much of that information is getting misplaced and disorganized. With these binders we will practice using the Cornell note taking method, recording observations and data, and creating graphic organizers to represent that data. Have all of our information in one place will also allow us to reference old work, creating links between new and old concepts, and using the writing and revision process to move our science writing through the drafting and composition process.
