My Students

The students art my school, are what I like to call overcomers. They have overcome so much adversity in their lives. My goal is to be a positive beacon for the students and the community.

The students I serve are ages 11-13, primarily from an urban population.

They are a diverse group of learners. The skills and abilities vary, their strength shows in many ways. The fact that many wake up and come to school is a miracle.

The students need to get their hands on their learning, and you can help!

My Project

The materials listed will give my students a chance to have an impactful hands-on experience when it comes to our Earth. The students will be able to see in 3D how a volcano works.

Our Ocean Model will help students see the change in water direction with the ocean's current.

They will also be able to see how the ocean's currents move, which impacts our daily lives. Ocean currents deal with wildlife, shipping routes, the trash islands and many more aspects.

Our volcano model will allow the students to see how magma rises through vents in the Earth's crust, creating volcanos!
