My Students
I teach 21 amazing and adorable kindergarten scholars. They enter my classroom with big smiles, happy, and ready to learn. Many students that come to our school do not speak English and have no preschool experience. We also have exceptional students included in our class.
We are a Global Magnet Title I School serving 65% low-income families who speak limited English.
We offer Mandarin Chinese and Spanish to our students. Our school also serves parents who work multiple jobs to help make ends meet.
My Project
Having hands-on learning during the day is needed when teaching young students. I will to teach my students how to add, subtract, 2D and 3D shapes during our math block. Students learn using visuals and movements in math and science. I would like to add the laptop to assist with giving students access to stories, investigations, and on-line games to help them learn different differentiated skills.
I want my students to be prepared for the 21st century and learn how to integrate technology in all learning throughout the day.
Donating funds to this project will give students ways to learn using visual and hands-on learning.
