The students in my class are from diverse backgrounds, and a variety of family living situations. We are a high quality, state funded ECEAP program for low income students. Early childhood education is very important, children enter our early learning program to get a jump start on their education and be prepared for kindergarten.
I want my classroom to be a positive, caring, and secure place children can learn and be successful.
These children love to come to school! They love to reading, building, art activities and interacting with peers. Within my classroom children will build self-confidence, independence, and relationships that will help them develop social skills for life. I want my classroom to be a positive, caring and comfortable place for them. I strive to support children's growth and development. As their teacher I aim to support their emotional development and give them a safe place to learn. The early years are crucial for a child's success and I want to be the teacher that provides the children who enter my class with the best opportunities for success.
My Project
Science is so wonderful to help children to use their problem solving skills and get excited about learning. The classroom science set has so many materials to encourage children's learning about the world and materials around them.
Preschoolers get so excited when they can use their imaginations during scientific activities in the classroom.
They want to know what will happen within these activities and use their predictions to determine the outcome. With the materials purchased they will get to do just that.
The most exciting activities are ones the students look forward to and get very involved in. Science materials encourage this excitement in children. With the classroom science set, microscope, eye droppers, and water materials children will get to explore activities using hands on materials to encourage their problem solving skills and spark their imaginations!
