This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At a school focusing on literacy and ESL instruction, a science literacy nook will provide my students a place to read and enjoy all science has to offer! These Biology dictionaries will replace older, outdated versions and a comfortable chair will provide an additional space for students to kick their feet up and read!

Reading can be extra challenging and cumbersome when English is not your first language, but providing a comfortable and laid back environment can provide my students the extra boost and comfort they need to practice and perfect their literacy skills!
