My students need Read and Understand Science Workbook, Science Project Workbook, composition notebooks, glue sticks, and colored pencils that will make them successful in this 21st century learning environment.

My students are awesome! They care deeply about everything that happens at school and home. We celebrate diversity with open arms. My students are filled with amazing energy, kindness, and enthusiasm. They work hard and are natural learners with keen powers of observation.
I am amazed at how different my students are!
Every single one of my students has integrity and a positive attitude. My goal is to educate, cultivate, and inspire all of my students academically and physically, and motivate them for future learning.
We are still recovering from Hurricane Harvey and looking forward to another school year and future. Our community is stronger with pride after Hurricane Harvey.
Keeping science journals will encourage my students to record and reflect on inquiry-based observations, activities, investigations, and experiments. Journals are an excellent way for students to communicate their understanding of science concepts and provide a tool for teacher feedback.
Science journals contain information about the students’ classroom experiences.
Students are encouraged to use them as scientists and engineers would before, during, and after all investigations.
By creating science journals using composition notebooks as well as colored paper, the information they are learning will catch their attention. For example, creating task card sorts out of colored paper and being able to manipulate them while studying. All papers done in class will be taped down in the notebook giving students easier access to all their papers in one location.
This will make studying easier for my fifth graders and more enjoyable! Students will be learning organizational skills as they create their Spectacular Science Interactive Notebooks.
