My Students

Our school strives to find the leaders in all students. Every child has capabilities, talents, strengths. Sometimes all it takes is exposure or motivation. The students in my class strive for excellence. They all inherently care about one another and continually make an effort to improve in all aspects.

My class consists of 24 amazing students.

Of those 24, 5 are English learners, one receives resource services, and three are in speech. They all have a win-win attitude and do their personal best to contribute to our classroom community.

My Project

My students would greatly benefit from accessing Super Science magazines. These nonfiction magazines offer a plethora of opportunities for students to ask questions and promote inquisitive thinking. The magazine would be used weekly during reading groups. Each student would be provided a magazine along with engaging resources from the Super Science website. Collaboration and conversation amongst reading groups would be encouraged. The Super Science magazine would start the inquisitive group work.

The Super Science magazine would make a tremendous difference in my classroom!

The students would have access to current and relevant topics pertaining to the NGSS standards. Thank you for considering donating to my project.
