My students need an oscillating air purifier fan to be able to direct the air flow from their current "Central AC" prototypes that they have engineered.
Hard-working, creative, and persistent are a few words that describe my students. I am thrilled to be working alongside such dedicated and driven students. Each day they come to school eager to be challenged and prepared to put forth the effort to achieve meaningful growth.
Students who invest so much of themselves into the process of learning deserve a real-world challenge that allows them limitless opportunities to problem solve creatively.
My students value the collaborative process of learning and are eager to think outside of the box when they are given the chance to. My class is a kaleidoscope of unique abilities, interests, and passions. Collectively, they are quite supportive of each other's efforts both inside our classroom and beyond.
My Project
My students have been working tirelessly and quite creatively to build their own cooling system for our classroom. Over the last few months they have been able to apply a multitude of concepts from both science and math to design and build a functioning cooling system. In the process they have become quite adept at learning from one another and building off of each other's successes. Perhaps more importantly, they've begun to value the mistakes that they've encountered as well. Our current prototypes are achieving exhaust temperatures as low as 53.3 degrees!
Students are currently tackling the design challenge of redirecting the air flow from their "Central AC" systems to maximize the cooling effects within our classroom.
The requested air purifier fan will fit perfectly into their working prototypes and allow them to redirect the airflow without having to redesign their entire systems.
