Earthquakes,force, matter- my students have no prior knowledge of these and many more concepts. I would love to have these DVDs to help illustrate these concepts and build my students' knowledge! Thank you in advance for partnering with me to give my students every opportunity for success!
The goal of the school is to be a 90/90/90 school.
A school that has 90% minority, 90% low income and 90% proficiency rate! With your help you can bring us closer to achieving our goals! This is my fourth year teaching, but the first year at this school. Our school is focused on college prep. In order for these students to go to college, they have to have experiences brought to them (as they cannot afford to travel outside of their current city). With these DVDs you can help bring these abstract concepts straight into their classroom. Help a child see the unseen! (earthquakes, forces, energy!)
My Project
My students need some interesting ways to reinforce what they are learning in the classroom. These science DVDs are a great resource and will be enjoyed for years to come! With these DVDs, abstract concepts will become visual and linked with vocabulary. My students are from a urban, low income environment. Many have not left the city. Without more resources to bring the world into the classroom, these students will leave my class unprepared. I teach middle school and with your help, these students will leave my class feeling prepared for the rigor of high school and beyond!
